SPS Travel Grant – Application open for ICIP 2011

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is pleased to provide travel grants on a highly competitive basis to student authors and non-student authors in developing countries. Only a limited number of grants are available. The grants will be awarded to applicants who have a genuine need for support, and the paper quality will be taken into consideration. SPS membership is required at the time when the application is made. Find out more information on how to join SPS.

The application is now open for eligible ICIP 2011 authors. For best consideration, applications should be made by 1 June 2011. Applications will be considered until the exhaustion of funds.

The grants can only be used to cover the travel expenses (such as air/train fare, hotel, and advanced conference registration fee) for applicants to attend ICIP 2011 to present their papers. The grants, if approved, will be on a reimbursement basis following instructions given to grantees.
